Naive Art
What book artist and / or publication you think is the best in teaching the basics of drawing?
I ask this as I been approached several times about the schools and books, while portraits of street. I am an accomplished artist on the basics, although my range of artistic genre is limited. Many teachers approach me about this subject. I know it's a bit naive, but I'm drawing more discipline, an art. Thank you!
"How to draw the Marvel Way by Stan Lee, I learned a little, even if it is somewhat short on perspective. There's this (someone Steve Guy perhaps?) Who wrote the book "Pyramid", "Castle" "Cathedral," "Subway", and so on, at least it is extremely inspiring. Comic book stores and libraries tend to have exactly what people are looking at this. Libraries are sometimes good, but people like to steal books. At the flea market I bought "Perspective Drawing," by Ernest Norling. Bound in the fifties or sixties, and originally sold for only a dollar. Now it arts education, I would say, damn. I guess I would be remiss if I did at least mention the "How to Draw like MC Escher," and "How draw like HR Giger, but if you knew me, now you know at least I'm a big Kidder, somehow.
